For years, when something emotional came up, thoughts would rush in immediately: What is wrong? What is this? Is this allowed? I'd analyze, distance, overexplain—until there was no energy left to actually feel what was happening in my body.
I went to talk therapy. Developed a meditation practice. Understood my patterns. But something was still missing. I was living with free-roaming anxiety, moving through life like it was happening to me.
Then my mentor asked a question that changed everything: "How do you know you're feeling anxiety?"
I paused. I had to actually feel to find the answer. That moment opened a door I didn't know existed.
I am Maria Janeff, I support people ready to reconnect with what they've been thinking about for years - to feel it, not just understand it. Emotions are the bridge to something ancient. Self compassion
An ongoing practice of becoming a kind and understanding friend to yourself, especially when difficult feelings arise. Through somatic awareness, you learn to track where emotions live in your body and stay present with sensations rather than judging or analyzing them. This allows emotional energy to be felt, witnessed, and integrated rather than remaining frozen. Self-compassion creates space for deep healing, reminding us that our struggles are part of our shared human experience.
